Product Introduction

Double sided butyl tape (commonly known as snake glue) is a type of double-sided self-adhesive sealing tape based on butyl rubber. Its biggest feature is that it never solidifies, always maintaining a paste like elasticity like rubber clay, and can closely follow the thermal expansion and contraction of the substrate, providing excellent waterproof, airtight, and shock-absorbing effects. It is widely used for sealing metal roofs, containers, automotive interiors, and photovoltaic brackets, and is a non curing solution that replaces traditional liquid adhesives such as silicone adhesives.

Permanent adhesion: The initial adhesion force is moderate, and over time, the adhesive layer will physically penetrate the substrate, gradually increasing the adhesion force and ultimately forming a permanent sealing layer.

100% Solid Content: Does not contain any solvents, does not solidify, maintains paste like elasticity at all times, and has self-healing ability (can self repair after minor punctures).

Building waterproofing (metal roof/curtain wall): used for metal roof panel joint, daylighting panel and wall joint, water outlet sealing, replacing traditional silicone adhesive, pollution-free and long-lasting.

Container manufacturing: As a sealing gasket for side panels and frames, corner pieces and boxes, used in conjunction with rivets to ensure air tightness during sea transportation.

Automotive manufacturing (NVH field): pasted on the door inner panel, roof, and floor to block noise, vibration, and harshness.

Photovoltaic bracket sealing: used for shock absorption and waterproofing between the bracket and the roof foundation.
