Product introduction
Flame retardant Reflective fabric is a reflective material with flame retardant function. It is mainly used to make firefighting suits, life jackets, and various professional protective equipment that require operation in low visibility or high temperature fire environments. Its core function is to ensure that the wearer can be clearly detected in dark environments, while providing continuous protection in the event of flames or high temperatures.
This material is usually composed of multiple layers of composite structures:
Flame retardant fabric base: As the material base, fibers with permanent flame retardant properties such as cotton or aramid can be used.
Adhesive layer: used to bond materials of different levels.
Aluminum reflective layer: forms a continuous reflective surface, with some spherical particles embedded in this layer for each glass microsphere.
High refractive index glass bead layer: This is the core part for achieving reflective function.
Detail Presentation
Core functions and features
High intensity reflectivity: The surface is covered with high refractive index glass microspheres, which can achieve "retro reflection", returning most of the distant direct light (such as car lights, searchlights) to the light source, forming an extremely eye-catching visual effect in dim or nighttime environments.
Excellent flame retardancy: The base fabric itself is made of permanent flame-retardant fibers (such as aramid, flame-retardant cotton) or has undergone advanced flame-retardant finishing. It does not ignite or is difficult to burn when exposed to fire, and can self extinguish after leaving the fire, greatly avoiding flame spread and secondary damage.
Durable and long-lasting
Washable: It can withstand multiple industrial strong washings (usually requiring more than 50 times), and its reflective and flame retardant properties will not significantly deteriorate, making it suitable for professional protective clothing that requires frequent cleaning.
Climate resistance: It has good wear resistance, tear resistance, and can resist certain ultraviolet rays, rainwater, and climate change, ensuring its service life under harsh working conditions.
Reliable material stability
No Droplets: Under high temperature or flame action, the material will not melt and drip, avoiding serious burns caused by the adhesion of molten material to the skin. This is a very important safety indicator for synthetic fiber materials.
Low smoke and non-toxic: High quality flame-retardant reflective fabric emits low smoke during combustion and does not release large amounts of toxic gases, saving valuable time for personnel evacuation.
Flexibility of use
Multiple substrate options: Different materials of base fabric can be selected according to different protection levels and comfort requirements, such as aramid (permanently flame-retardant, high temperature resistant), flame-retardant cotton (comfortable, breathable), etc.
Easy to process: Materials usually have good flexibility and cutting ability, making them easy to be compounded onto various protective clothing and equipment through sewing or hot pasting.
