What is EPDM Rubber Granule Anti-slip Tape?
EPDM rubber particle anti slip tape (also known as pool anti slip tape or rubber particle anti slip adhesive) is a self-adhesive safety anti slip material: colored EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) particles are fixed on the surface of the tape substrate, and the back is coated with waterproof acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. Tearing off the release paper can directly stick it to the ground or steps.
The surface is covered with dense three-dimensional rubber particles, which feel like fine small stones, elastic, and non stick to the feet - this is the biggest difference between it and ordinary anti slip tape.

Differences from traditional diamond anti slip tape
• Ordinary anti slip tape uses hard mineral abrasives (quartz sand/alumina), which have strong friction but a rough surface that is difficult to grip. Barefoot stepping on it feels like stepping on sandpaper, and the abrasives will fall off over time.
• EPDM particle tape is made of elastic rubber particles that are soft and do not cut the feet. The particles are not easy to fall off, and it also has the effect of shock absorption and noise reduction.

The thickness is mostly 1.2-2mm (the thickness varies depending on the particle size, with 8 mesh being about 2.6mm and 20 mesh being about 0.85mm), and the width is commonly 25/50/100/150mm or customized to 1.07m wide, with lengths ranging from 5m to 50m. The color can be single color or mixed with three colors, and can also be made into rounded die cut sheets (5cm/10cm/15cm/20cm x 60cm/76cm/81cm/95cm, etc.) or irregular sheets.
Installation key points
• The base surface must be clean, dry, oil-free, and wax free, preferably treated with isopropanol or degreaser; When the temperature is below 10 ℃, the initial adhesion of the adhesive will significantly decrease.
• Cut the four corners into rounded corners, and the right angled edge is the first position to fall off after being stepped on.
• After pasting, let it stand for 24 hours to allow the glue to fully cure before being exposed to water and pressure; It is recommended to use primer/edge sealant in damp environments.
