2、 Standard construction steps
◉ Cutting and pre laying
-- Cut the tape according to the seam length of+5-10cm.
-- Tear off one side of the isolation film and temporarily fix one end first.
◉ Paste operation
-- Slowly unfold along the centerline of the joint, while tearing off the isolation film and compacting it with a scraper.
-- Apply pressure from the middle to both sides, eliminate air, and ensure that there are no bubbles or wrinkles
Overlap width: Longitudinal overlap ≥ 8cm, transverse overlap ≥ 10cm.
◉ Closing processing
-- Apply a terminal back pressure of 5cm or more and press firmly.
-- The parapet wall, pipes and other parts should be wrapped in a "U" shape, with a height of ≥ 25cm when flipped up.
3、 Key control points
◉ Temperature requirements:
-- Best construction temperature: 5 ℃ -35 ℃.
-- Preheat the base layer and tape below 5 ℃.
-- Avoid construction on rainy days, dry for 24 hours after rain.
◉ Compaction standard:
-- The edge of the tape should have a uniform overflow of glue.
-- Use a roller to roll back and forth 3-4 times.
-- Additional mechanical fixation for key areas.
4、 Quality inspection
-- Appearance inspection: no bubbles, wrinkles, or leakage pressure.
-- Sealing test: Watering test can be conducted 24 hours after construction.
-- Thickness testing: The final formed thickness should reach over 90% of the nominal value.
5、 Precautions
-- Do not stretch or paste (just lay it flat naturally).
-- The overlapping area must be reinforced with special sealant.
-- Avoid trampling and water flushing within 24 hours after construction.
-- Storage requirements: cool and dry, avoid direct sunlight.
